Gobblerfest is an annual festival intended to engage students in campus activities and connect with the surrounding community while inspiring curiosity, civility and self-understanding.
Gobblerfest was conceived in the fall of 2008 as a welcome festival for students, staff, faculty and members of the Blacksburg community. This free event has become a highlight of the start of the academic year.
Gobblerfest is an excellent way for students to meet each other, explore common interests, and become a part of the Virginia Tech community, all in a healthy, alcohol-free setting. Student organizations, businesses, non-profit organizations, and Virginia Tech departments will offer food, games, free giveaways, and volunteer service information at booths around the Virginia Tech Drillfield. The day's schedule will also include a variety of entertainment.
Student Organization registration is now open. You must be re-registered for 2016-2017 before you register for Gobblerfest. To find out information about the re-registration peice visit our Student Engagement and Campus Life homepage.
Registration is now open for businesses, non-profit organizations, and Virginia Tech departments.
